TelenetConnect Requirements
TelenetConnect is installed on the notebooks or handheld devices of mobile users.

Windows Vista, XP and 2000
To support TelenetConnect for Windows, your notebook PC must meet these minimum requirements:
System Requirements
- Pentium III processor (or equivalent AMD processor)
- 512 MB RAM minimum, 1 GB recommended
- 100MB free disk space
- TCP/IP protocol
- 16-bit color mode
- One or more connectivity devices installed, depending on your connection type:
- A supported WLAN adapter for a WLAN connection. (any NDIS v5.1 compliant 802.11b or 802.11g Wi-Fi device)
- A supported Mobile Broadband PC Card Adapter for a Mobile Broadband connection.
- Ethernet adapter for wired broadband connections
- GSM modem or data card for GSM connections
- ISDN terminal adapter for ISDN connections
- 56K v90/92 modem for dial-up connections
Operating System Requirements
- Windows Vista (32-bit Business, Enterprise and Ultimate)
- Windows XP Home or Professional Edition (SP 1 or SP 2)
- Windows 2000 (SP 4 or later)
Additional Requirements
- Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 SP 1 or later
- iPass also recommends that you install all critical Windows updates (and preferably all Microsoft-recommended updates) for your operating system.

Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
To support TelenetConnect 3.0 for Mac OS X, your Mac must meet these minimum requirements:
- Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
- 5 MB free disk space
- AirPort Compatible Wi-Fi Adapter

Symbian on Nokia Smart Phones
To support TelenetConnect 2.20 on Nokia devices with the S60 operating system, your device must meet the following requirements:
- Nokia S60 3.0, 3.1, or 3.2 device with Wi-Fi capability

Windows Mobile 6
- Windows Mobile 6 Professional Edition
- Windows Mobile 6 Standard Edition
- A supported WLAN adapter for a WLAN connection. (any NDIS v5.1 compliant 802.11b or 802.11g Wi-Fi device)
- No PC system requirements as the only installation option is to install directly on the device. (no ActiveSync installer available)

- iPhone OS2.1 or 3.1 (3.0 has to be upgraded before using TelenetConnect)

TelenetConnect 1.0 for BlackBerry® smartphones
- Device and Operating System requirements
- iPassConnect for BlackBerry 1.0 is designed to work on all BlackBerry devices having Wi-Fi support and running BlackBerry OS version 4.5 or higher.
- The application has been tested with the following devices: Bold 9000, Curve 8320 and 8900, Pearl 8120
- Additional requirements
- Installing TelenetConnect for BlackBerry can be installed using different methods : The BlackBerry Desktop Manager (version 4.7) is required to install the client from your PC. Installing directly by downloading the client from your BlackBerry web browser is also possible when an
- internet connection is available.
